Go to a doctor.. Not being harsh haha.. But i suffered with severe acne for over two years trying "loyal" amd "trustworthy" brands from off the shelves and none worked for me, so i went to my local gp and they perscripted me to different tablets over the course of a few months none worked.. I got transfered to a dermatoloist and within 5 months my acne was gone, within 3 weeks i saw a difference, im not saying this is the only thing that will work you may get lucky and the first thing you try may work
Good luck

LOTS OF WATER!!! This is what has helped me and I switched to soda for a short period of time because I was out of water and I started to get a small bit of acne. Also, cut down on sugar and if you need an over night remedy, I would try cinnamon mixed with honey on it. Keep it there for about 30 minutes and maybe longer and it'll help it from being inflamed. I did that recently. If you want to eat sugar or candy, eat some DARK chocolate, it doesn't have as much sugar as milk chocolate and has better nutrients since more cocoa is in it.

The rumours about candy causing it r just old-wives tales.
Wash ur face often and buy some form if treatment from a local drug store.

Another thing to help is to wash your pillow cases once a week! Because even if you wash your face, your pillows will pick up all kinds of oils and dirt/dust and it will clog up your pores!

Go to your doctor and ask for Epiduo Gel, they have it here in Australia and it is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. It seemed to clear up all the acne I had when it was due to facial oil or impurities overnight. If its hormonal (the big ones that don't come to a head for ages), you just gotta wait it out. If it's really bad, go see your doctor again and they'll give you pills, my friends all got doxycylcline when they asked. If THAT doesn't work, see a dermatologist.
But always maintain a good skincare regime - wash twice a day (not more, as it'll dry your skin out causing your face to overcompensate with oil = more acne) and moisturising.

Like others said, wash your face, and before sleep put on an acne treatment. And don't touch them or pop them, ok?

I have an acne problem as well. Just wash your face with mild skin cleanser and always make sure your skin is well moisturized or the sebum will overload. It's puberty that's all. And also try using cucumber to cool your pores and lighten scars.

Wash your face at least twice a day and drink lots of water, I have tried some shelf products that supposedly help get rid of acne and they ended killing my face (dried it out), so if you do decide to use them make sure to keep your face moisturized some way or another.
I've actually found that, now that I'm using moisturizer twice a day without acne products the amount of acne I have has considerably reduced but idk.

Dont wash your face too much. It washes off your skins natural oil and causes the skin to dry and chap. When the skin is too dry, the body will produce more oil (often too much) causing more acne and inflammation.

Drinking lots of water and managing my stress levels helped the most for me. Above all else everyone has said, little things like washing your towels & sheets regularly will help too.

One of the causes for acne can also be stress. So if you notice you are way too stressed, just try to calm down and really try to relax a bit.
