Yeah like all things in moderation its ok(im not promoting them or the useage of them). But I have first hand experience of my friend who cant remember what he done 5 minutes ago. His brain is scrambled! Know the dangers and if your going to take it dont over do it or take it EVERY weekend and also do your research it first.

Well have you done it? That is first hand experience. Also, how much did your friend take, and what was the quality of it?
I did a few lines with one of my friends (it was her ecstasy that she was sharing with me) and it didn't have too much of an effect on us, and I'd never done it before (but she had).

The day I took ecstacy was the most amazing day of my life. Everything was just wonderful and happy. I'm not condoning the use of the drug just sharing my experience.

Ecstasy is an amazing drug used right, you really don't know the meaning of ecstasy until you have had your teeth chattering and a tingle down your spine when your rolling!

No, no no no. If you have something in moderation it means that you're stopping something before the effects of something continue to worsen. When it comes to controlled substances and drugs, there's the saying "Not even once." You can't 'moderate' drugs because even one can be enough to put someone in a fatal position. Ecstasy dehydrates the body quickly and alters the body's temperature. The only thing that is "OK" is not doing it at all. Moderation does not exist. You should be encouraging people to NOT TO TAKE IT AT ALL.

it could be because generally you aren't suppose to snort ecstasy? you just swallow it.

Exactly. When you take drugs you're playing with your life, and there's a reason why it's Class A (in the UK that is). Anything that alters your body's system and affects homeostasis is dangerous. It doesn't matter what I say seeing as when you take drugs it's your own body you're playing with.

I don't understand the anti-drug crusaders in a sub-forum that is precisely about drugs. You don't take them, we get it. At least don't misinform.
There's another saying in chemistry, "dosage makes poison". Literally anything in the world is dangerous, including water, but only if you have too much of it. Too much varies from moment to moment and individual to individual. So yes it's possible to moderate drugs just like one moderates everything, by setting a line and not going over it.
Ecstasy is inoffensive if used in moderation and if you know what to do under the influence (hint : drink). If you use too much too often then it has a neurotoxic effect.
