I like this guy i like, and he likes me too. we both are going into high school, i was thinking of asking him out and hoping he'll ask me out. should I wait 'till he ask me or should I ask him?

Go ask him. If you two get along so great then he probably will accept. You should not wait too long, otherwise someone else could ask him out. At the end of the day it wont matter if you asked him out, or he you.
