Why Does everyone I know do drugs???

At my school, almost everyone does drugs, does anyone else have this problem???

Not many people at my school do drugs. A lot drink, but I guess that's seem to be pretty normal. I actually don't know if anyone at my school currently does drugs. One kid in my class was a pot head before he moved to my town, but not so much since.

Depending on where you live, drugs may be a fairly common thing. I knew a guy who got into drugs in 4th grade and, sadly, that's not exactly unheard of around here. We get some gang activity, and for some of the kids whose families are involved in gangs, drugs are even easier to get. The only thing I can tell you is to not let anyone pressure you into doing drugs. It's up to you if you want to hang around with these people (although I wouldn't suggest going to parties where drugs are being used, as you could get arrested even if you don't get high. Also, dump anyone who tries to pressure you into doing drugs with them, that's bad news), but remember that it's also up to you whether you join them. Maybe talk to your parents about this? I know my mom talks to me about drugs and alcohol on a fairly regular basis, and I know that if I were at a party or out with friends, and they were drinking or doing drugs to the point that I wanted to leave, she would come get me at a moment's notice and she wouldn't be mad. I have friends who say they wouldn't call their parents though, because they're too afraid of getting in trouble. If you can establish a good relationship with your parents now, you won't have to worry about that.

There seem to be quite a lot of people in my school who have done drugs, and are still doing drugs, so, yes, other people have your problem. I am pretty annoyed by it.

It doesn't bother me anymore I was just wondering if any other schools are like mine. When I found out some of my friends did drugs I was like OMG!!!! and I was disappointed but now I am really desensitized to it. I don`t do drugs and I never have (I have morals) but for some reason it is more common now. I did talk to Ma and she said it is ok if I have friends who do them as long as they don`t pressure me she understod. I know if they did I`d be pissed.

I live in kind of a richer, more upscale town, but there are gang influences all around (there are several girls who are dating members of the Bloods [there was even an attempted drive-by at the middle school two years ago], and there is sort of a small in-town gang, but they're not really worthy of the title gang..) But anyway, quite a few people do drugs, but I wouldn't say everyone does drugs in my town. 75% of the people I know have gotten drunk at least once though, and about 25% of the people I know have gotten high at least once. There are more drinkers than anything else in my town, but there have been people who sneak to the bathroom to smoke (students) in my school.. There are quite a few kids who smoke right outside the school in fact.. Its mainly those same exact kids who do the drugs though.

yes mainly two kids tho but that s them for ya infact one is so involved with drugs sometimes he just takes a pen apart to make a bong in class. so ya ppl at my school do drugs.

Drugs are becoming more and more popular in this day and age. To the point like a small town has to do drug searches on a bi-monthly basis, I'm aware that some do it more, but that's still pretty often for a small town. I know most kids have at least tried a drug by the time they are 18.

Many kids try them whenthey are way younger. My townis having continual marijuana and meth busts, and like 25% of the people in my grade do drugs. I hate it.

They might have thought that drugs were cool but after they started they couldn't pull out.
