My first girlfriend lasted for 6 months and before that we were best friends for 4 months. but like 4 weeks ago she said she would rather be just friends and I said ok. but last week I said I missed her. and and she said she broke up with me because she wants a guy who's a leader and doesn't have so many problems. and so then it hurt everytime we talked after that day, and I told her it hurt so now we don't talk and I need to get over her. How?

Again this will sound horribly insincere, but I've been there so many times because I have so many problems... and there is no "way" of getting over her. It's the toughest thing to realise but there is no trick, its just time, distraction and the realisation that you can be happy, you will be happy and you DESERVE to be happy without her.

I'm going through the same thing right now, and it feels absolutely horrible, but really before you do anything like trying to get her back or trying to get another girl, try and be single for a while and work on your own life. I flirted with one of my guy friends the other night and now everything is just too confusing so just keep it simple hun :)

my first relationship didn't hurt much because I was like 10, but the past few ever since I started self-harming and stuff have been really painful... I guess it's hard to be happy with someone until you learn to be happy in yourself :) and this girl, I also have been that girl before (which i'm guilty about) and it really is best to just wait a while

I'm trying to do that, I might hang out with a friend every other day. I skateboard alot. but all the time at night my thoughts catch up and I can't hide my feelings.

#2 Don't listen to sad songs like Scars by SayWeCanFly
and #3 (from How I met your mother) Nothing good ever happens after 2am. At 2am, I put the laptop away and distract myself entirely :)

not at all, its weird that boys think they shouldn't cry, everybody needs to let their emotions out at some point

i just feel like a wimp, because normally in a breakup the guy hurts the girl, and for me it was opposite and I cry everyday.

well last night I was pretty stoned so that doesn't really count but usually, you know, I do feel lonely. I'm pretty short and my tools are hidden pretty high up but I do start to feel kind of empty. So I just either read like the nerd I am or just try and hope that I fall asleep instantly...

I feel like I'm getting bad again. I cut my wrist 2 days ago for the 1st time in 5 months and yesterday I cut my leg. I don't want to go back there but everything hurts so much. I have to go to work now. Ttyl Lauren <3
