I don't feel like diving into my whole story, but recently I've been feeling just absolutely shitty. I would never want to harm myself again after my last experience with it, but the feeling is starting to surface again.

I was just wondering if you guys have ever experienced this? If so, what have you done to stop yourself, resist the urge, or do as an alternative? cause I'm at a loss for ideas.....

Since I have Borderline Personality Disorder, I become dissociative when I am self-harming and don't have control over it, nor do I remember it happening. I would suggest, since you have control over your situation, to tell someone you trust. It's important. If you ever need someone to talk to, feel free, ANYTIME, to come to me.

Yeah this happens to me sometimes. Just really try to keep yourlsef occupied with other things. Go outside and take a walk, go running, draw, walk your dog, go out with friends, swim, work out, etc. Don't sit around at the house doing nothing because that'll just bring you closer to doing it.

Try talking to people about your feelings. Listen to music

Usually, I do something so ridculous and silly that you have to laugh, because when you start laughing at something stupid you completely forget what you were upset about.

Basically, just occupy your mind with something else. Pets make great distractions.

The butterfly project is useless. I already know how to handle my own issues, thank you. I am literally a crazy person and am not someone that someone your age needs to get involved with.

I know this is kinda late but sometimes if you write what your feeling down in a journal it helps I kept one for a long time and it helped especially if you don't want to tell someone yet. I hope this helped...
