A month back at school, I developed feelings for a girl who sits next to me. We have been friends for a while already so I started texting her everyday during the exams. Then I asked a friend of her to tell her that I like her. Her friend told me that she kinda knew that I liked her already and told her that she liked me in terms of friendship. Then without her knowing that I knew she knew it already, I kept texting her and she seemed pretty lazy on the replies sometimes... A few days later, I told her that I liked her and she said she appreciated my effort and were willing to go on a date with me and try to develop feelings for me. Then we went on a date and I started to get paranoid about stuff... I am unsure whether or not she is willing to really develop feelings for me since she never texts me first and her replies are sometimes kinda short. I just asked her friend today and she still said we are currently still friends. How much chance do you think I have and what do I need to do in order to escape the friendzone?

I feel that you're overthinking this, if she agreed to go on a date with you and is willing to give you a chance then thats good right? And with the short replies, are you suggesting that she used to send you somewhat long texts? Dont worry, everthing's gonna be okay, in fact, everything sounds great for you right now, lol :p

She sometimes send me longs texts. But the thing is that she said she was willing to give me a chance but no guarantees... And this worries me.

Just look out for her and be polite, and above all be very confident. Once she realizes all of those good behaviors, you can maybe try asking her out on another date and see how that goes.

Well at least you got out of the Friendzone and went on that first date. You should not think too hard on other things. Be confident and be patient with her. Girls play hard to get sometimes by being totally awful at texting back and texting short messages. Try giving her another chance and see if she wants to go on another date.

Sorry man, but don't get your hopes up. I've had the exact same situation happen to me and the only thing that happened was we went out and she claimed things were never going to work out after the date. When you're in the friendzone you rarely, if ever, get out, even if the girl seems willing. Sorry bro.
