Bans cannot be discussed. Unless the Senior Staff feel it necessary to discuss them with the forum as a whole.

I think you sould PM Mike (ImCoolBeans) about it. I mean I'm sure he will at least talk you trough it, he's a very caring person.

not trying to hijack, but this is what worries me most, when long term, high post members get banned. its not the same as banning the new people. the reasons should be made public as they were big parts of the community. its common courtesy

I agree, they should ask the banned member if they are allowed to post the reason for the nbanning, if the banned member agrees then the community should be informed.

Ban reasons aren't made public for the sake of the members privacy, if you want to know, and you have the members offline contact, just ask them. Staff will not share the reasons unless it does affect the whole community and in this case - it doesn't.

ok but if the member was being a creeper or a fake, or breaking the rules, their privacy shouldnt matter. (not referring to yazzy)

If the situation calls for it, the community will know. Not every ban needs to be shared, I don't think you understand how many fake profiles there are on VT. I also don't think you realise how many people break the rules, unless it's serious enough for everyone to know, it won't be shared and that won't change no matter how much you want to know why someone was banned.

All clear, I found her and she's OK, but I still think k the user should decide if the community knows, like a box on there page that says "banned for:". But argue me down all you want. You may as well lock this now.
