To creep or not to creep

This thread is inspired by gumleaf's but I have a different situation.
So I've been crushing on this girl since a few months before the beginning of time (or fifth grade). The issue I have with her is that I don't know her. Like we have talked before, but not like 1 on 1 and we only talked because we happened to be in the same place, the bus for ski club (so Minnesotan that all it needs is hotdish), but now I have acquired a twitter and she's gone and been difficult by favoriting most of my tweets (which are hilarious) and I am overthinking this by trying to decide wether she likes the tweets because a) I am hilarious (very likely), b) she is just being her lovely self and being a nice person (equally likely), or she is interested in me (so unlikely). Now, I've got her number (because she asked me to be a drummer for her band; I said no for reasons that aren't important) and since she didn't exactly give it to me so we can have super deep convos late into the night and we aren't really friends, I don't feel comfortable about just texting her out of the blue because I feel that I'd be, well, creepy. But if I don't try to talk to her, well, you know. Thoughts?

I agree with Jess. She isn't a good friend so you have nothing to lose by just saying hi in a text and seeing where that goes. Otherwise you'll be just playing mind games with yourself while you figure out hypothetical conclusions in your mind. Not a good place to be in!

I helped a friend with a similar case, and I basically convinced her to text the guy just a "hi" and start a conversation. The guy didn't even give her his number directly XD
He didn't think it was too creepy. He was actually kind of flattered.

Now they've been dating for the past year and are a great match :)

Imagine that she does likes you, and is a little embarrassed about it, and that when she receives a text from you, she'll be really happy :) It's a feeling so worth it, that it's worth the try.
Who knows? You two might be a great couple :)
