How many friends do you have?

Being realistic, how many people do you either talk to regularly and/or do stuff with? I classify my friendships into four types:

1)Best friends - they're the ones I do everything with and am there for 24/7. I only have 4 "real life" best friends.

2) Close/True Friends - I'm pretty social with, but I don't instigate social events with them often. I have about 7 close friends.

3) Association Friends - We get along, but you'd rarely see me hanging out with them alone. We were introduced because we have a mutual friend and we only really hang when we're both with said mutual friend. I have around 7 association friends as well

4) Online Friends - obviously, we met online and do a majority of our talking online (though I would love to meet some of you irl one day). A lot of my online friends are here, though I have met a few from GovTeen and surprisingly even Omegle :)


Rambling aside, I have 18 friends that I see in reality, and a whole bunch more online friends!

none really. had a best friend for a long time. but the last few months it started dissolving and now i've moved away. i've cried some over it, but never posted about it until now. always knew even with him there wasn't that strong of a connection. have lots of online friends, but again not really much of a connection to any. i guess that's consistent with being autistic.

I have a somewhat large social group and I have a lot of people I hang out with, but I would say I only have about 6 "true" friends, online and off.

I have 4 best friends, we're all each others best friend, we hang out literally almost everyday. Besides them I have about 10 other friends that I see about once a week, they're pretty close to me too. I just recently made a few online friends too :P

Lol literally all my friends are online now, either because I met them that way, or they've moved.

I'm really close to about 6 people, but one of them is my boyfriend, and I rarely talk to the others, so.

I'd say I have 4 best friends, 10 close friends and 15 association friends. I'm not actually sure how many online friends I have since I just started talking to people around here.

Best friends: Seven. 4 i talk to daily. 3 i talk to almost daily.

Close friends: idk. between 3 and 10 depending on what you want to class as close.

Association "friends": too many lol. i dont even like most of them and will see very few of them after high school.

Online friends: very few that i still talk to. if you asked this is 2012 i'd have said like 40. maybe about 3 now (at a push)

I have 4 best friends I talk to all the time, trust with my secrets etc. then about 7 or 8 more friends in my friendship group. Then maybe 10 or so association friends that I see around in sixth form, maybe talk to in lessons or between lessons etc. but don't text, hang out with outside of school or whatever.

I have a really good online friend I'd actually class as one of my best friends too, I talk to him every day and he knows things about me that my actual friends don't, minor things mostly, but still, I find it easier to tell things to someone I don't have to be face to face with the next day! Also maybe 3 or 4 other online friends.

1)Best friends - uhm, I think I have.. two. Except relatives.

2) Close/True Friends - Two...? Yeah, two. We're just like this group of five, it's just that I'm closer to some of them.

3) Association Friends - Two again, and also some of my classmates, if we organize some kind of event.

4) Online Friends - I don't really have many constant friends at the moment... I have a few who I talk to more, but there are also others I chat with once in a while.


I think I'm fine with those numbers, tbh. I mean, it does get boring sometimes, to hang out with the same people on a regular basis, also all of them being girls... But I guess I prefer this instead of a bunch of fake friends.
