At their houses, it depends on what my friends' normal beds are. One friend has a big futon and there's room for both of us. One friend just has a single bed and we usually end up both sleeping in the family room after watching Netflix. I have a single bed and we'll usually both/all sleep on my floor since it seems rude for me to have a bed if my friends are sleeping on the floor.

On school trips in a hotel, there will usually be two people in each big bed.

The only touching is random/accidental bumps as people roll around or climb over each other to get into the bed or onto the right spot on the floor.

Ive shared a bed with alot of friends on school trips and sports competitions. You can't control your movements when your asleep and it happens. No one ever seems to bothered by it.
