I've managed 3 months clean and now I went a relapsed, I didn't know wha else to do I couldn't ignore the urges and now im left with self harm cuts, I have to meet a friend this week only im scared of how hes going to react, im kinda nervous about showing my arms I cant hide them because its sunny out and hes seen my scars etc, they aren't going to heal soon either because they're pretty deep :(

Hey Silent,
Relapses happen, it's a part of recovery. Don't beat yourself up about it. 3 monts is an AWESOME accomplishment, don't be discouraged. This time around aim for 4months you can do it :) as for your friend when you meet him maybe wear a sweater on top of your shirt and if he asks how you are tell him that you've relapsed but talk to him and tell him that you just messed up and your going to work at being clean again. Of course if youre going to say that you have to mean it.

I agree with Yazzytime ^^ Relapses happen, you can go for a long time without doing something ( In your case, its cutting ) or others it could be something else. 3 months is really good :) ( Congrats btw ), I hope you're gonna to go another 3 .... heck 6 months without cutting. Good luck

you did so so well keeping clean for 3 months, you can do it I promise you are strong enough. As for hiding them, maybe find a light cardigan? I don't know tbh, I hide mine with hoodies. But if you feel like you need to talk to someone, my Skype name is on my profile :)
