ya it has 1 usb port thankfully, i can't stand using trackpads, and it even a built in modem so that if nuclear war occurs i will still be able to dial up(if any of u still remember what that is):D. All in all i would say it is a steal, the only thing i wish it could have is a cd drive, but those probably hadn't been invented yet. Just on a side note, you know you have basically no ram when it measures the amount you have in kilobytes:).

Right now i am using my 80Gb ipod as an external hard drive for it, if i ever get around to it i might try plugging in a 7 year old wireless card i have, that way my internet can be as slow as my computer:lol:.

I also have a quick question for all of you with laptops out there, when i have the power cord plugged in the computer runs fine, but as soon as i unplug the power cord from the laptop it shuts off. It is as if the battery isn't even their. I am suspecting since the laptop is about 8 years old it is just a bad battery, but it is just strange that it doesn't hold any charge whatsoever. The stuipid thing is that if i wanted to get batter for it. I would be nice to have a working battery so i could carry it around but it's around $70-$80 to get a new one, and i don't think i am gonna pay $80 for a new battery, when i only payed 10 for the laptop:P.

If the battery is as old as the computer... or even half the computer's age, that is one old, bad battery. It sounds like it was plugged in nearly all the time... or it's just that old. :P

It sounds like it was plugged in nearly all the time... or it's just that old. :tongue:Ya i guess i kinda expected that when i bought the computer for $10, o well im still trying to figure out what to do with it. I figure even with all its problems it is still perfectly suited as a doorstop, paperweight, or hot plate.
*Edit*
Wow, i just relized a good use for my laptop, since im leaving tomorrow for mississipi and won't be back for five days i might as well give my desktop wich has been running for the past 170 hours some rest, and play minesweeper on my laptop, which also means i can turn of my portable hard drive which has probably been running 3 times as long some rest too. So their i have answered the question(with the help of anthoney), what do you do with a $10 laptop. Play Minesweeper!:P
