Helllloo!!
So this summer I'm gonna dye my hair red. Like RED! I need some advice on what to do!

Here is a picture of me and my hair....

Here is a picture of the kind of red I want. I don't want the hair style though.

Can you give me a list of things I need to do (i.e. bleaching, timing...)

I WOULD MASSIVELY APPRECIATE IT!!

I dyed my hair black last month, I just bought some hair color package and it contained some fluid to mix the color with (it had to sit for 30 mins), rinsed it and applied some protection fluid. It all was in the hair color package.
I don't know if things are different with red hair tho (I went from having same hair color as you)

I really hope this works out ok.

Might be I would think instructions on the hair dye - maybe you could ask.

I dyed my hair a few weeks ago, I had to bleach it first but I'm part black so much hair is dark and I have a totally different hair structure, so I dunno if it's necessary in your case. Most important is that you read the instructions on the hair dye packageing carefully.
However, I guess if you want to have hair that really have the color shown on in the pic you need to have it professionally done...cuz all people I know who use unnatural colors like that even when bleaching the hair looked a bit messy. The color wasn't the same it was lighter in some parts darker in others, so don't be disappointed when that happens to you, too.

I guess the dye will def stick to your hair as you have light hair already. You might not need any bleaching for that.

just follow the instructions and put on junky clothes because it's very likely you could drip and it will stain.
Red fades pretty easily, at least in my experience. So I'd suggest getting color safe shampoo and wash it as little as you can stand, even if it's permanent dye.

I'd just slightly bleach your hair, you already have pretty light hair but if you want a more vibrant red (like the example) bleaching is your best bet. I would only bleach a few shades lighter though. Once your hair has been lightened I'd use this, http://www.sallybeauty.com/ion-color-brights/ION153,default,pd.html#start=7

Be sure to deep condition after you've finished with coloring/bleaching your hair is more vulnerable & needs care. Good luck & be sure to let us know how it goes!
