I personaly had ... My grand grand father was born in Principality of Montenegro in 1880 ( I dont know exactly which date, all I know is born year and death year) in very,very rich family ... He had 4 brother and he was 3 brother ( by age ) ... His family was very rich so he finished school in Montenegro and some school in Vienna ... So , he was educated man in that times on Balkan ... First war came in October the 8th 1912 ( First Balkan War ) . As Muslim he fought on Ottoman side ... War ended in May the 30th 1913 , and Ottomans were defeted by Balkan Alliance and they were expelled from Balkan . Second war ( Second Balkan War ) happened in June the 29th 1913 and he fought again on Ottoman side ( this time Ottomans were with Balkan Alliance ) and they fought against Bulgaria ... War ended in August the 10th 1913 ... From 1913-1927 , most of countries tried to ethnic clean Balkan from Muslims and Turks ... But than WW1 happpened ... Again , he fought on Ottoman side ( he was Captain ) , and Ottomans and other Axis were defeted again ... Anyway , ethinic cleaning continued after war ( even some Muslims fought on countries side that wanted to destroy Muslims ) They never succeed in that intention ( to exterminate Muslims ) ... From 1919-1927 he fought in rebel forces called Komiti ( mostly made by Muslims and Albanians ) against ethnic cleaning on Balkan ... They ended with their actions 1927 , when most of countries stopped with Muslim killings ... From 1927-1939 , that was peaceful time , no wars , they lived very nice in poor Kingdom of Yugoslavia , they had many plantations and much property ... From 1939 , when Germans attacked Poland , and WW2 started there was some fractions that suported Nazis ... My grand grand father joined them ... When Germans smashed Kingdom of Yugoslavia like some bug , my grand grand father joined in 13th Waffen SS divison which was stationed in Sarajevo ( capital of Bosnia ) and firstly he became SS-Hauptscharführer ( Master Sergeant ) , and so he fought on Nazi side until 1945 ... Because of his succesful actions he was promoted in SS-Obersturmführer ( First Lieutenant , in 1944 ) and he was awarded with Second Class Iron Cross in 1945 , which was big award in Nazi army ... After WW2 , he escaped to the Austria with some friends and he stayed in Austria to the 1950 ... Meanwhile , communists publicly executed every man who cooperated with Nazis .... After execution times , he came back to city , and continued his life as usual ... Neighbors loved him , so they didnt report him to communists ... But secret communist agency ( UDBA ) , find out that "big fish" as they called him came back ... So they found my grand grand father in his house reading books ... They sent him to the jail ... And he was in jail for 6 months ... Meanwhile , communists had politics that was based on fact that people was charge and people ( poor and rich ) should share everything ( no matter on financial situation as I said , religion or nationality ) they were all comrades ...So one of measurments to rich people was nationalisation of ther property and land ( movable and immovable property ) , so they nationalised all propertoy that my grand grand father had ( except one house ) , that was measurment to all rich people in communism .... Meanwhile , they convict him on 10 years od community service ( he was putting mines on Yugoslavia-Albania border ) ... He couldnt recover because propety nationalisation ( from very,very rich class to the middle class) ... Sadly , he died because of gangerene ( he know that he has gangrene , but he thought that death is freedom to him) in 1953 ... After many years, my father tried to retrive property of my grand , grand father ... Govenment in my city estamated that value of my grand grand father property is about today 370-400 millions of todays euros !!! My father is still fighting on court about this property with today govenment ... Interesting facts about my grand grand father are : He had only one child because of his warfare , he was very tall man : according to official obituary , at the time of death he was tall 217cm and weight 137kg , which is pretty tall for 73 year old man , at the best year of every man life 30-50 years ( in health and strenght) he was tall 232cm and weight about 180kg .... He was also very strong man .... And interest thing is that his wife was tall 147cm at the time of death and weight about 36kg , but during best years (health and strenght) she was tall 161cm and weight about 53kg ... Because his wife my father is tall 187cm , but I have more genes on grand grand father - I am 15 and I am tall 192cm , even I will surely not reach his height ...
