PS3 or XBOX 360...?

okey im mainly postin this t find out which is the best... and also to see if you have either one... i personally have a PS3 btu i think XBOX 360 is better... reason why is that most of my mates have XBOX360 and there are better and more games for it...

what would you rather have and why...?

the only system thats really fundamentally different is the Wii
And it can be allot of fun to my bro in law has one

I'm sticking with Xbox mainly out of well earned loyalty

When Microsoft comes out with another console in a few yrs I'll probably buy that no questions asked

I have the XBox 360, it's a great console, had it's problem at first. Mine got the 3rrod (3 red rings of death)but i sent if off and got it fixed it was back within a week. I'm sure the ps3 is a nice system, but it really just depends on what you play, and the type of games you play. Certain games only come out for the PS3 and others just for the XBOX 360.

XBOX 360 as of right now because it has better games, but the PS3 is coming out with some huge exclusives soon. Blu-ray could also be a hit. PS3 could outdo the 360 in the near future, but as of right now, the 360 > all.

okey then... xbox live is what...? £40 a year...? well a PS3 online is free ... haha we get free online :) :) that to me is quite alot... able to play wiv ya mates online wivout payin a penny lol... but only problem evry1 i know has xbox 360 :'( lol so am abit messed up wi that...

ive also herd tday at skwl that theres a new ''halo wars'' game... its sposed to be halo but in the style of command and conquer... just wondering... lol ...

I always was a playstation person then when the 360 was released I got that and got hooked. I prefer the online features on the 360, plus I like the console look.


I reckon the built in wireless on a ps3 isnt needed by most people and should be a add on, also blu-ray is really expensive and shouldnt be included so the cost would go down on the PS3

to be on the question though i side more with the x-box 360. I really think they steped up from the classic x-box that i remember and I LOVE how the games for the 360 have also been pretty revolutionary for gamers

Just bought myself a brand new 360. See, Ive been a PSX player, PS2 Player, N64 Player and Gameboy player (Advanced, DS). And the conversion to the 360 was amazing. With only 2 games so far, it has not let me down.

I don't actually know anyone who doesn't use the wireless on their PS3, and the Blu-Ray is essential, it has pleantiful storage for games. And it would hardly effect the cost at all. And since Blu-Ray is beating the HD-DVD in the battle, the PS3 will be able to play all the films as well as everything else it does.

The price has already dropped, and there are hundreds of decent games out already with some big titles coming out in the next few months.

however...not everyone uses all those features...some don't need those features like I have my router right next to my xbox so it works fine

Plus there are official servers for online games, meaning there's no host advantage or crappy connections.

I have a 360 Elite. Personaly I prefer the Xbox over the PS3 but I have to say yes it is better THAN THE CORE (Arcade) AND THE PREMIUM but it's not as good as the Elite system as the Elite has the same graphic quilty, all of the Xbox 360 titles, more HDD Space, IT'S CHEAPER, it looks fuc*ing amazing in matt black and there more popular so I can play with basicly all of my mates un-like all you PS3 fan boys and girls who's friends have a 360 so they can't play them.

they're basically the same system. they have pretty much the same third party games. it really depends on what system's exclusive do you want to get the most. but getting both systems together is just stupid in my opinion because they pretty much are the same. 360 has better multiplayer cos of Xbox Live. that's the only significant advantage for the 360. and 360 is kinda more accessible I find.

not trying to start anything here but universally, 360 have sold more than twice of PS3. it goes like this: 1) Wii 2) 360 3) PS3. i don't know anything about local sales but I do no 360 have sold more than PS3 universally.

It's easier to develop for and the GPU is superior, but the PS3 has a superior CPU, albeit more complicated and difficult to develop on.

Technically PS3 is much better
It has a much better and faster Processor
Has 7.1 Sound and Xbox only 5.1
Graphics are almost 2 times better and are from Nvidia
PS3 has Blue-ray and 360 no
And the online service on PS3 is Free and Xbox you have to pay for it
