Cheating :(

Hello. I met my ex and got to know her for a month before we started dating. After a month she began to drift away. She spent more time with her friend who smokes green stuff and is uneducated. He was aggressive and a total douche. He stole her from me and she sent me a picture of them kissing. I was so sad.

Should I stop trying to find that special girl? I feel like shutting everybody out. Is it better to date friends?

Don't stop looking just because this one girl was a jerk. Unfortunately there are a lot of guys and girls out there who are also jerks, but there are just as many wonderful people, and if you don't look, you'll never find the right one.

It took a lot for me to open up and start talking to girls. I am nervous and I do not like to get my hopes up. My ex that cheated on me only wanted to use me for pleasure. She is sleeping with this new guy and I am glad I did not let her take my innocence. I want to wait.

As corny as it sounds, a big part of life is taking chances. Yeah you could just shut yourself out and for sure not meet anyone, or you could take a chance. It's like the quote "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

I know in my heart I did nothing wrong. I opened doors for her, told her how pretty she was, and I even slow danced with her and we never dance. I was a gentleman and she used me :(

Yes she treated you bad. It happens. Now you have two choices:

1) Wallow alone in self pity

2) Pick yourself up and enjoy life for the good things it brings.
