This song was actually the song that made me fall in love with making music. Clocks by Coldplay. We were playing a string arrangement in my orchestra when I was in 7th grade and we were rehearsing it on stage the day of the concert and it just clicked. We were making music and it sounded so magical, it felt magical. That's when I fell in love with music.

It was Bad Romance, by Lady Gaga. I was probably 10 or 11 years old when I heard it for the first time, and since then, I feel in love with music, generally speaking.

I've always loved music, what made me have a passion for it was the song "What I've Been Looking For" from the first High School Musical. It was the first song I ever performed and put me into the place of wanting to continue approaching music. I had my dreams set by 9 years old.

Asking me that question is a bit like asking me "so what was the exact mm/dd/yy when you first started talking?"
I don't know, but the Strokes, Coldplay, and Blue October were played a lot in my house as a kid so that kinda shaped what I like musically today.

Probably the first time I listened to a noise album. Can't remember the track name but it was a Prurient song. My mind exploded and then I realized how the definition of music is so infinite and the power that it can bring is unstoppable. Never thought something that sounded so raw could even exist. That's when I truly began to "get into music", although most people wouldn't call noise a form of music. They're fucking stupid though.

Young and Hopeless by Good Charlotte. It was on a mix CD my best friend made me when I was 9 or so. I had always sworn I'd never listen to music, but I loved that CD - I still have it - and now I listen to music a lot. :)

It's interesting that so many people can remember the exact song that made them fall in love with music; all I can remember was wanting to be a rockstar in preschool.
