So this morning I was making a quick run to McDonalds to get some fuel for my body, but instead of going through the drive through, I decided I would park and go inside since I had no freaking clue how much 2 breakfast burritos were.
So I found a nice parking space next to the entrance. As I start to roll into the spot I hear SCRUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!
I completely misjudged the depth of the curb and scraped probably a good 8 inches of the front bottom of my car! Good thing there wasn't too much damage, just a few scratches in the paint. Then I went home, and accidentally parked in front of someone's driveway (since the city is working on repaving mine), and pissed her the fuck off. God, someone please take my keys away from me when it's early in the morning and I'm tired as hell :P
Have you ever done any damage to your car, or done something stupid like checked the curb or bottomed out? Plz tell me I'm not the only one!!

Oh im sorry to hear about your car but at least noone got hurt, and I was driving my grandpa's s10 around the backyard to go check on the chickens cause im to lazy too walk ... So anyway I was driving and making good time for the back yard and we have this pole and this GIANT hole in the back yard Ok. So anyway I was driving and I thought , hey I can take a short cut and get to the chickens faster so I drove the truck and forgot about the pole being there and I hit it but I wasn't going fast so you can't really tell but I looked and if I hadn't have missed it , I would have driven the truck down in the hole so im kinda glad I hit the pole , note to self , use the regular path out to them X/

Yup, I hope that scratch isn't too noticeable. I actually climbed part of the curb in my low sports car. I got out and checked the side of my car at a stop light because I was so paranoid that I ripped my bumper off. Luckily no damage. And I nearly backed our escalade into a parked car. Those back up sensors are too quiet when your friends are yapping in the backseat!!!

Ouch! Good thing it wasn't anything serious and no one was hurt!
I've backed into a snowdrift before. I'm used to my car because it's small and short, but I had my mom's car then and she has a long wagon, so I totally misjudged how much space I had to back up. Whoops.

I recently accidentally put my car in to reverse going 80km/h, long story...
Luckily didn't do too much damage and should be easy to replace the starter motor part that's broken.
Haven't had any collisions or anything yet.

I accidentally drove over some rocks in my boyfriend's neighbor's driveway and scared him half to death
He had to take a smoke, and he refused to talk to me or let me drive after that :P
EDIT: I feel I need to add that these were BIG rocks, and I was driving too fast to be in a driveway
Scared the crap outta us both

You're not alone. I've....
-Scraped a car trying to parallel park my truck in a tight spot
-Snapped a plastic piece in my wheel well when I jumped my Honda CRV while trying to rally-drive on a dirt road.
-Put a large indent in the underside of our old Volvo when I tried a reverse j-turn at 30mph and didnt see one of those parking stone things you roll into.
-Drove through a large hedge in my truck in one of those "hold my beer" moments - literally drove out the other side with a branch in my grill.
Probably done some other stupid stuff, nothing major though.

Ahahaha, your truck wanted to prove that it likes playing in the outdoors

and yeah the damage isn't too noticeable. It doesn't really concern me though, as it's just a lease vehicle so they'll probably fix it when I take it in for brake service.

Scraping the bumper is pretty common on anything small. I've had the bumper repainted on my RS4 twice since I've had it...you always seem to think you have more space than you do. I've also backed my boyfriend's big lifted truck into a small parked car before. Had no clue it was even there

I ride a motocycle and I managed to get the engine block to smash into the floor by taking a hill at 70mph+, I took all the paint of the bottom of the sub frame and dented it, all I had to do wqas respray it and take a hammer to the dent to fix it, I did more damage to my balls cos I smashed them into the tank....I'm not ashamed to say that made me cry...

I've had fun reading these lol. My dad says those are just battle scars and a car with no dings means you aren't having enough fun in it. That was him not me so no rotten eggs please.

Once, on a driving lesson with my dad, I pushed down on the gas too long and nearly went through a brick wall.

Today I accidentally drove forward instead of reversed and bumped my dad's car and snapped my front license plate frame ~ whoops, at least no damage to either car. I'm usually not a bad driver, but this was like 7 in the morning and I normally sleep till like noon, so I was like not awake while doing this. :P

I just thought of two more occasions where I messed up.
-Driving to school early, rolled into a lady who had a big bike rack on the back of her minivan that I didnt see. No damage to either cars but stopped traffic for a bit and I got honked at.
-Pulling into a parking lot, accidentally rolled at like 1mph into a cement wall. Still made a gigantic thudding noise and everyone around just stopped and stared at me.

Today I almost ran a stale red (which had been red for about 10 seconds) because I was distracted with getting my windows rolled up. I was going close to 40mph and I was probably about 75 feet from the intersection (which isn't a lot when you're going 40mph/64kph) when I noticed it was red. I slammed on the brakes and probably looked like a complete moron, but I didn't crash into anybody so yay!
