First, I'd like to say hello 'cause I just registered on here.
I'm also registered on TH (TeenHelp.org) and I'm even member of staff there (It has been down for several days now so I searched for alternatives and found this forum). ^^

Now coming to the point, I always noticed how tired I am during basically everytime of the day. Even if it's just a bit of tiredness, I'm never really awake.
My mom has told me that it's because I play too much on the PC but I don't think it is that.
I tend to oversleep but also If I sleep like 8 or 9 hours, I'm just always tired.
In school weeks, I have to get up at 10 to 6 AM and it doesn't matter how much I sleep because I'm always tired.

In my past I got diagnosed with depression and panic attacks. I was also self-harming and at the moment, to be honest, I'm at the edge to end a 2 month 3 weeks and 3 days (on this day) streak but that was not my main problem.

I'd just like to know what could cause this. :/

Depression can definitely cause it, but it can also be some other health problem as well. It could be a hormonal imbalance, or a neurological thing, possibly just dehydration.

Also, welcome. :)

Medication can cause this. Simply being bored all the time can cause this as well. It could just be Summer syndrome. I have the same problem and those are my two causes for it. I'm here to talk if you ever need someone at your side.

Hope I could help.

Playing too much computer games can also contribute to it. You should try to eat always at the same hours and keep yourself hydrated. And yes, hormones can also be the cause.

By tired do you mean that you feel sleepy all the time?

its the same as me then. a doctor told me its because of Vitamin D deficiency. I don't get much sunlight usually and the remedy he told me was to start spending some time in the sun.

But I do get sunlight.
I'm not that much outside but I do get sunlight. And I had some blood tests and urine tests before and both of these tests didn't say anything bad.

are you outside for like 5/15/30/60 minutes approx?
i get probably 5-10 minutes of sunlight on average and that is far below the required amount hence the deficiency.
Although your problem could be because of some other reason too.

A good point the sunlight - as that can regulate our natural sleep cycles.
Another thing is actual quality of sleep and stay up late and computer time does not help that.
However maybe you feel tired due to some deficiency of vitamins or minerals etc.

It's always different..
Sometimes 5 minutes and sometimes way more like a few hours.

it could be my problem or any of the other things mentioned here as well. You should see a doctor who could diagnose it best and give you the exact reason for this.
