Awesome, but it's in desperate need of a name-change. A magnificent structure like this shouldn't be called The Extremely Large Telescope; that's just not right.

I always thought it was really funny. I mean, the joke is that you would expect a telescope that magnificent and epic to have a name that's also magnificent and epic, but it doesn't. It's just "The Extremely Large Telescope". It's funny. Like when comedians intentionally screw up the punchline.

I think it should be called something like "the final telescope" or "the end telesope"
