Found someone I like - what now?

Please bare with me. I'm really crap at this. I'm not really talking about anyone specific, but let's say I find a girl I really like. What next? I seem to be able to make friends with her really easily, but I simply have no idea how get to that next step? I'm 18 and have never had a girlfriend, any tips anyone?

Be friendly and get to know her better. Ask her to hang out and build a friendship. Then when she feels comfortable, ask her on a date.

It is difficult to speculate maybe with the right girl it would be easy. As in the right girl would be looking for a relationship and would want to date you.

But you should ask them just generally about hanging out bit do research - find out what they would like to do/

as a girl, my advice is just to build a friendship with her, then hint at liking her a little and see how she reacts. you should be able to gauge how she feels fairly well by the way she responds to subtle flirting, as long as she's not super shy.

What sort of subtle flirting do you mean? Is the idea to get her to like me, or to find out of she already does? thanks :)

welll you can't really 'get' someone to like you, per say..but you can get to know her better and find out if she feels the same way, or starts to.
as for subtle flirting, just compliment her sometimes out of the blue, smile at her a lot, maybe touch her on the arm sometimes if it seems okay to do that, hold eye contact for a bit longer than usual, things like that. text her more often; does she seem happy to talk to you? if she seems to respond positively, then ask her out and see where it goes.
