The growth of pubes

Now since the time when I started puberty pubes have emerged of course but very slowly and I am having to shave them just to let them grow more. The strange thing is ma best bud same age as me, he is filled with pubes and I don't understand how he could have so much.

Any ideas?

well everyone develops at different rates, you've just yet to get to where your friend is. plus where'd you here that if you shave itll grow faster?

Been told many times by my sisters if I shave the tiny hairs between my eye brows they will grow back faster. Same with other facial hair and it appears to work the same for pubes.

Your friend is just further into puberty don't worry man you will grow more if you have any questions pm me nothing's wrong with you

Puberty tends to be a very unpredictable thing, and unless you want to be disappointed, it's not wise to compare with your friends, thinking that you'll be the farthest along. Your friend was probably just an earlier bloomer than you, simple as that.

Actually Loka I enjoy having hair also in my friend group if you don't have hair, people don't respect you as much. Not saying I'm forcing myself to have pubes because of this, I want them

People develop at different rates so even someone the same age may be at a different stage. Also hair is not a good way to measure development because some adults are much hairier than others.

So, for example, someone whose genetic line are very hairy may be hairier when 40% of the way through his development than someone who comes from a less hairy line who is 60% of the way through.
