North Korea fired two short-range Scud missiles into its eastern waters Sunday, a South Korean official said, in an apparent test just days after the country tested what it called new precision-guided missiles.
A South Korean military official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, citing department rules, said the missiles were fired from Wonsan and are presumed to be short-range Scud ballistic missiles. The official added that the military is determining what kind of Scud missiles the projectiles were. South Korean media quoted officials as saying the missiles are presumed to be Scud-C missiles, the same as ones fired in March. North Korea fired the missiles without designating no-sail zones, which the South Korean military views as provocative.

NKs always reminded me of that one little chihuahua that goes up to the rottweiler and barks in its face, but as soon as the rott shows any sign of actually responding the Chihuahua goes running off with its tail between its legs.

It would be interesting to actually see them try and invade South Korea (or any other country for that matter).

Cause the us was testing a defense system. Not weapons mean purely for attack. North Korea is a threat. Plus this system is being sent over to help protect you.

I agree. How is your link even relevant?
The ABMD is designed to destroy ballistic missiles post-boost and before reentry.
The OP's story is about NK shaking it's fist in the air, hoping someone pays attention.

More crap from the America empire about evil NK, and how they need to dealt with etc. North korea isn't a threat to the United States or to South Korea. The same way that Iraq wasn't a threat to Israel or the United States. America test fire missiles, heck look what they did in the 1950's with the pacific islands?

No-the system isn't designed to be used in the United Kingdom-it's designed to be used in Romania. Fuck all to do with the United Kingdom

So when the US dropped the hydrogen bomb in 1953 was that any different? The US was shaking it's fist, hoping that those damn commies pay attention

And guess what those damn countries did pay attention. NK is just rattling their sword because they have nothing else to do.

So basically it's Ok when the US do it but bad when NK do it? NK quite clearly have a reason to test fire these missiles-they need to satisfy the Military in their country and show it has offensive capabilities.
Why do the US hawk lobby love saying 'damn countries'' you're not in a low grade action film from the 90's

Satisfy it's military? NK is one big military. Besides, their military isn't entirely enthusiastic about their job.

Not really-as usual the west fails to understand NK. There's different factions all trying to influence/control power. There's a rather vocal faction who are pro-war, and want NK to be able to exert their power (as nations like Russia/US/UK do), the missile test is simply showing that

Yes it is-you just don't want it to be because it tarnishes the romantic image you have of your own country. One rule for the US-one rule for the rest of the world. The US did it to show the USSR their power-in the same way that NK are doing it to show SK there power
That's the lessons guys-to paraphrase Nixon-'' If the US does it it means it's not bad''
