Can girls pee standing up?

Just curious: I was wondering if it is possible for a girl to pee while standing up. I've heard some people say it's not possible, and some say it is, and this seemed like a place to settle it. Thanks for your input!

we are physically able to do so, but all our thighs and legs would get wet with pee so its cleaner to sit
