what are the best razors/cream/whatever to use when shaving your pubic hair so it doesn't look too badly irritated and red?
also, is there any at home waxing products you can use or do you have it get it professionally done?

If you're using a razor use one with as many blades as you can find. 4 or 5 blades is perfect with 5 being the best. Try to avoid 2 or 3. The more blades and the closer they are the less irritation there will be. Any form of shaving cream/gel will work, but if it has aloe vera or moisturizers it will be very beneficial. Make sure to moisturize after shaving to keep from getting irritated even if the shaving cream/gel already has a moisturizer. Use a perfume free lotion or aloe vera, or baby oil. Also, never use any type of chemical depilatory (nair basically) because it will cause a great amount of irritation.
