Alright I started posting this a minute ago and then stopped because of the ridiculousness of it, but seriously it's like wtf.

My computer has long been a bit...testy. But now the Calculator program will just randomly open. Like out of nowhere it just pops up. Sometimes twice in a row. Just after I decided not to post this thread the first time, I was in the middle of IMing someone and HELLO there it was again. Soooo does anyone have ANY idea whatsoever how I can make this stop?? Cause really, it's probably one of the most irritating things this piece of crap has ever done *twitch*

Hmm... Try scanning your computer for viruses and other malware. It might not be either, as I'm not sure what kind of malware would randomly open up (Windows?) Calculator.

Are you sure you're not accidentally pressing some sort of keyboard shortcut?
Edit: A suggestion I found - If you're using Windows, right-click the icon/shortcut to Calculator and check the properties. If there's something for keyboard shortcut, remove it and click OK.

Are you on a laptop/notebook? There might be something you're accidentally activating there. For my notebook, pressing for a bit on any corner (even though I'm just moving the arrow) flashes up different layouts and menus, depending on what the corners are programmed for. Before I knew about this program that came with my notebook, it used to freak me out when IE seemed to randomly open.

If someone has been on your computer they could have scheduled it to pop up at random times

It's been about 7 minutes and the scan is at 1%

>_> I'll just let that run.

Checked that, no shortcuts.
