i've just recently started dating this new boy.
he's a year or so younger than me.
but i don't care because i truly like him a lot.

but my only problem.
he won't even hold my hand when we hang out.
or anything.
nothing at all.
i wish he would..but i don't know how to hint it to him.

my friends say he's just nervous.
but how can i speed things up?

your friends are probably right. has he had a girlfriend before? maybe you could take the lead and take his hand. then by judging his reaction, it might make things clearer, whether he is just nervous, or he has some problem doing that. otherwise, just tell him that you would like to have more of a physical relationship, starting with holding hands, and see what he thinks. remember communication is the key to any relationship. hope that helps.

i agree with stephen. just try to have physical contact with him and judge his reaction.

right now, he might be thinking the same thing you are and doesnt know that to do about it. talk to him and stuff...see what happens...make things happen. you cant always waot for something to occur, sometimes you have to start it yourself.
