Im REALLY starting to get worried

Ok so yesterday I sung alot like normal , I went to bed and this morning I can't sing right ( I have nodes btw ) I keep clearing my throat and its gets a little better BUT if I get quiet and then start singing again, it gets hard again. I think I may've blown a blood vessel last night and every time I clear my throat, it breaks the scab ( the dried up blood ) thus causing me to lose my voice but im not positive, It could be something totally different , what do you think is wrong and or what I should do ?

I'm guessing the logical thing to do would be to stop straining your voice. Try to stay quiet and not talk (or at least not sing) for a couple days. If it gets worse go to the doctor.

I know you LOVE singing, but you need to give it a rest, or at least cut back, your throught needs time to repair itself, and see a doctor since you have a pre-existing problem.

Yeah well Ill try cutting back , there is no way Ill be able to stop though. I guess years of singing high & second hand smokeing ( NOT voluntarily , my mom used to smoke everywhere till she finally quit cause of my family's health ) finally caught up with me, I can sing like almost normal now but my throat feels like its on fire in a little spot ( the node is getting bigger GAHHHH ) :(

Update : My vocal cords finally failed. I was at a 3 day lock in and I had to sing like SUPER high and they just quit ( I can talk & sing again but its not the same and my throat is super sore T.T )

As a singer myself, I hope things will get better for you and will be a very minor thing. I couldn't imagine a day without singing and I hope you don't have to deal with it.

: UPDATE : I am going to the doctor today cause my mom finally see's I have a problem and she wants to see what's causeing it. Ill post later with some results .

Ok well the doctor says , I have a virus that's causing me to have laryngitis & I have a lil bit of sinus drainage as well..... And I am a singer ( soprano believe it or not )
