When i get to the age of needing a car I have always wanted the ford Angela from harry potter for some reason I love every aspect of the car and the good thing is people are selling them all the time on ebay qnd round scotland.
what do you guys think, do you like classic cars and would you buy one as your first car?

Classic cars are cool, but I think I'm just going to buy a later model car next time around.

Older/classic cars need to be properly cared for and maintained - that takes time and money.
And if something goes wrong, not every modern car mechanic will be able to do the job, you might need to find a specialist and parts may not be readily available.
That's why classic cars are a great hobby for old guys ~ because they're the ones that have the time and money; not teenagers. :P

As a first car I would love a 2002 mitsubishi lancer evo or a 1995-96 nissan 240sx s14 and work to build them, turbo them and use a custom exaust and body kits

Ha The vehicle ( <-- notice I said vehicle not car ) I have is a 1989 plymouth grand voyager SE, she's got 247,537 miles on her, she gets GREAT gas mileage but she doesn't run right ( it over heats if you're in stop & start traffic ) and the electrical system is shot. If you're willing to take the time and money, you can keep anything running, but if I were ya'll, Id get a newer car cause its easier to find parts for and etc.

I'm hoping I can get a somewhat cheap (less than $5,000) sports car as my first one. It would probably be a late 90s to early 00s model, maybe a Mustang or something. I dunno, I just don't want to drive around in some old person car if I can help it.
