Civ 5 Victory

Has anyone on here ever finished a complete game of Civilization 5 on the "huge" map setting? (Starting from the ancient era) If so, which difficulty?

I usually lose interest in the game at the start of the industrial age...things just get too complex!

Hmm... I play on huge quite a lot, but I don't have the patience for a victory (I play from ancient). Really, I just disable all victory types, and play until I get bored.

I have won on the huge map setting, although it took me a few weeks of playing on and off. I usually go for the tech win whenever I play, and then sometimes just continue after that until I get bored with it.

That's usually what happens to me. I always set it so the only victory type is domination, however (I think that's probably the hardest one).

Agreed. Domination is my most favorite. I don't like sitting around making treaties and buildings the whole game. I discover all the techs quickly, take over a continent or so, grow my economy, and then dominate the world

My ultimate goal, which never happens, is to get to the point to where it's just one capital left to capture and nuke it :)

I recently purchased both expansions, and so now it's even more complex.

I got the ingame editor mod off of the Steam Workshop. If I've had enough of game, I'll just give myself a bunch of nukes and finish everyone off...It's a lot more satasifying then just abandoning it.
