Who's seen the Evil Dead? What was your opinion on it, it has had mixed reviews over the years but I want to see the over all concensus.
Funny? Scarey? Dull? Crap?

All I know is its the only film I've ever seen in which a woman is molested and raped by a forest...yes....a forest.

The originals were great, the remake was not that good. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the originals were scary or Oscar worthy by any means, but they were funny and in classic B-movie style.

I really liked the remake, it had me actually somewhat scared, tbh. I thought that the effects were really creepy and cool. I'm not a fan of old movies from the 70s/80s so I don't care about the originals, actually.

The original is a classic, I thought it was kind of scary and funny, a good mix. I haven't seen the second one, but I know it's also regarded as a classic and some say it's better than the first.
