Poem- "I am free"

This is my first poem of this type so any feedback would be appreciated :D


I am free
I will never say
Others will control me
Because I will let them
Spit their hate like venom
I will always have people
By my side to love me.
Because of this, no one is
Strong enough to tear me down.
It seems everyone is
Trying to get to me and
My enemies only succeed in
Me getting stronger.
But it will never be
Because I am not good enough
People will never like me
That is a huge lie
Now repeat after me,
I am free
