choosing a job for future

if i still went down the road of designing of games and photoshop design as a main job would i be on a job that could set me for a long time or should i have piping as a main job (im planning to get amazing at pipes told you get big money from everyone) or do both?!

Video game design is a great career choice, but don't go into the field with any misconceptions. Its mostly just coding and hard work. You don't just get to sit around all day and play videogames. And while doing videogame design will earn you a living wage, it isn't gonna get you rich. If you want more info go to the US labor Bureau website and look at the unemployment statistics and whatnot.
