Uh, if you haven't been drinking enough water, yes.
Alcohol is terrible for MOST body organs in high volumes, but the liver is really the one that's most likely to be affected. Try to drink a lot of water, and if the pain comes back or persists, please see a doctor.

Umm... yeah? Too much alcohol can be bad for anyone, regardless of how high your tolerance is.
Just take it easy and I agree with Ren, if you have further pain, do get it checked out.
My friend's brother passed away a couple months ago from liver failure ~ he was young and a heavy drinker, one day his liver just went out and that was the end for him, he had no previous signs or symptoms so he didn't even realize the damage he was causing himself.

Just try to drink in moderation, and when you do drink, try not to overdo it ( e.g., don't get blackout drunk, or fucked up to the point where you can't stand or walk ).

If your BAC level rises too high for your weight and height, absolutely.
I've given myself alcohol poisoning twice, once at about .4, and once at about .32, and you don't want to experience it, believe me.
Short answer: You can DIE from drinking too much at one time. (I should be lucky I haven't.)

Yes too much of alcohol can make you have some of your organs fail or altogether you die.
