Hi,
I have a tight foreskin and am pretty sure that I am going to get circumcised. One of my younger brothers has deffo got to have it done and is getting it done soon. I have never seen a circumcised cock before and don't even know anyone who has had it done. I told my cousin and he said he knew a boy at his school who was done, but he said he got loads of grief from his mates about being done. I want to know any English boys who have been done and if they had grief for it at school.

I was cut at a very young age (before I can remember) because it was too tight. However we never had to shower at school so the most anyone saw was underwear so none actually knew.

i wouldn't worry about it. I think if you get cut at this age there is a bit of discomfort for a while as the head needs to desensitize

im from uk too and i really never have heard of anyone i know circumsized now i too have what i think is a tight foreskin but im on the verge to fixing it at 12 i could not pull the foreskin back now at 15 after many wanks and slightly tearing the foreskin of the head not doing damage of course i am just needing to tear it of the bottom rim of the head now only slightly painful i now am feeling very confident in my penis so if you feel you can go through this you could save your foreskin good luck on whatever happens :)

No i did not feel the need at first because the foreskin was coming down without pain so i felt this was natural then just started taking the foreskin down more trying not to damage the head too much. Also I really did not want to get my mum involved with things like this i find it really uncomfortable with my parents.

My Mum took us to the doctors it was really embarrassing. I wish she had left me be but cos of my brother she was like no we had to go.

Circumcision isn't common at all in Ireland or the UK and the countries in the British Commonwealth like Canada, Australia, New Zealand. If it ever was high, the rates are now declining steadily according to the UN Health Organisation.

I only know one boy who is, and he had it done when he was four because of bad phimosis apparently.

Regardless of where one is, no one should be made fun of because of it. Frankly it's no one else's business but one's own business, in my opinion mocking someone who is circumsised is a bad idea completely.

See a doctor, they can give you some creams and techniques to help you out. Particularly in the british health system, they aren't going to want to cut your foreskin off unless they have to because it costs them more money.

I been to the doctors, that who said I will prob need to be circumcised. I don't want it to be done either so I am using cream at the moment and trying to pull it back more but it don't seem to be doing anything. The doctor said it would be better if I was done before I started puberty if it came to it. So now my mum is trying to push for that because one of my brothers is defo getting it done. :(

don't worry. it isn't the end of the world. i've been circumcised my whole life. my penis works great, trust me i test it out all the time. :) i like how it looks too. anyone who teases someone for being circumcised or not being circumcised is immature.

He examined me and tried to pull back my foreskin, but because it's quite tight it was hurting, he said the skin is too tight at the end stopping it going back.

Explain to the doctor that you really don't want it done and that you really will only get it done if nothing else. Use the cream, it does take a few weeks to come into effect. But don't stress too much about. There are more british boys circumcised than you think. That, and, it could be said there are benefits to circumcision. I wouldn't know, but I hear countless pro-circumcision teenagers on this website absolutely praise the procedure. Might it be worth making a thread to ask for some advice from some other members of the community here?

Why do you need it done? And if no1 knows you've bene cut they can't grief you so try to hide it from other students. I'm sure it'll be fine though. Good luck with it all

Hi James, I'm in UK too (I live in Blackpool), I was cut at 12.5 and I too was afraid to get remarks or mockeries but it never happened to me.
I did get some questions like why I did it and how it feels, but not nasty comments or stuff like that. So dont worry ;-)

its not that bad I am overseas atm and 4-5 months ago got cut its not that bad and everyone that asked or was told was only supportive and I think 80 % of people know and all good and it still feels good after and make sure you tell them to keep the Frenulum very important and cut about half way down from glans tell the doctor you will be fine either way I found leaving it and using creams fails and you end up years later needing it more due to infections and tearing for them and the cream won't help
