I'm in FL for the summer, and I'm pretty bored. Well I used to live here and have some friends from school, would it be weird if I talked them and ask to hang out with them. Keep in mind I am extremely socially awkward and clueless so I don't know about social stuff.

Not weird at all. If you still consider them your friends (or did when you left) then it shouldn't be a problem. I would love for someone I used to be friends with to come visit me - I would surely make a few hours (or a day) for them :)
