i can't remember the reasons why, but i've heard that its not healthy to hold in sneezes. i have sneezing fits often caused by my allergies. anyways, sneezing is the bodies way of getting rid of foreign stuff that comes up the nose, so if it doesn't get realesed, then it would make sense that your sinuses would get congested causing you problems. so the bottom line is, if you have to sneeze, do it.

Pretty much yes. Mucus is produced in the nose to trap small particles like germs or dust, and keep you from inhaling them. When you have a runny nose, often it's coming out for a reason. When you repeatedly sniffle rather than blowing your nose, it can cause sinus infections and even ear infections. Plus it won't make your cold/allergies go away any sooner. Just blow your nose.

Hah, no problem. When I was little I got sick all the time, and my mom would get mad at me when I'd sniffle instead of getting a tissue. I said it was the same difference, she corrected me, and it stuck. Haha.

Does it really matter but i get more relief from sneezing than holding it in.

thats because your body is getting out dust and whatever else that you have breathed and is blocking your airways. so it makes sense that you would feel better afer a sneeze.
