Well, do you think he killed himself or he was murdered.... Possibly by Courtney Love. Personal I think he killed himself, but there is something that Courtney is trying to hide. What are your thoughts?

To answer the question...as far as I know he had mental health problems since childhood, so I'm sure it was suicide. I just feel that Courtney Love and others around are probably guilty of not taking his mental health problems serious enough.

I've definitely heard of Nirvana, I just never knew who the singer was. He was dating the ghost whisperer lady? :lol:

Yeah, I don't doubt it was suicide. Lots of famous rock stars have mental health issues. That's what makes em so damn good!

I think Courtney is responsible for it. Not that she did it herself, but she knows who did. She has reasons to. Turn Kurt into an idol, and claim all of the Nirvana "stuff" for herself, because she was going nowhere with her own career. Just my opinion.

I see both sides to the argument, however I feel he killed himself just because he had a definite history of depression. the theory that Courtney love killed him doesn't seem to have solid data

I think Kurt killed himself. He was a mentally ill, heroin addict. I don't think his wife killed him, as infamous as she is in other ways.

Courtney Love most definitely was not responsible for his death. He had already tried to commt suicide once before and his family had a history of depression.

Honestly, I think he was shot. There's no way somebody nodding on so much heroin AND Valium managed to shoot himself in the face with a shotgun, using his toes.

Courtney Love always was a despicable bitch. She got rich off the Nirvana catalog. Motive doesn't prove anything, but the chain of events point to something not being rosy in this whole thing.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I believe there may be something to the murder theory. One of the more damning pieces of evidence is that he allegedly injected himself with 225 milligrammes of heroin followed by a large quantity of vallium. This is nearly three times the threshold necessary to cause death. First, there's no way this was an accidental overdose. Even if you're a hardcore junkie, you would have to be a complete idiot not to know how much could kill you. If Cobain meant to kill himself this way, why would he then shoot himself? Also, if he were frying this hard, I highly doubt he would have the coordination necessary to fire a shotgun with his toes... while his shoes were on.

Additionally, the majority of his "suicide note" seems to indicate leaving the music business and his wife rather than suicide. The only part that seems vaguely suicidal are the last three or four lines. Something else suspicious is that these lines are suddenly written in a different type of penmanship and suddenly shift to a left-leaning slant when most of the text prior was written with a generally right-leaning slant.

I think that it was suicide. As coolbeans said, he was mentally ill & was also on multiple drugs. Diazepam (which was found in Kurt's system) can in some cases cause an increase in suicidal thoughts. Such a tragedy either way though. I'm a big Nirvana fan.

I think this is an odd situation, im not sure if Kurt did kill himself but after taking a huge dose of Heroin so big that there's no one else that survived it (that doesn't mean it can't be survived these things aren't recorded as meticulously when non-famous people die) it definately leaves doubts .

But I definately think Courtney is hiding something!
Like maybe pushing him to kill himself or supplying him with drugs or firearms.
There's something about her that I just don't trust!
And she gained so much from his death, it arguably made him an even bigger star (and a member of the "27 club") while giving her all legal rights to his music.
