Hey everyone, I've seen a coupel of people with things like: "Runescape player", or I think one of them was: "Runescape HighScore".

So this got me thinking how many people actually play (and enjoy) Runescape?

I stopped playing in 2012, but want to go start playing again with OSRS.

The people you probably saw were backjruton and bebop :)

I've played from 2005 to 2008 and then from 2009 to 2010, I guess. I've never had a membership, though, but I remember I reached combat level 78 in one of my characters. That game was (and probably still is) really cool, but lots and lots of things have changed since I last played, so whenever I log in again, I feel really lost, because I don't recognise the old Runescape I've used to play anymore.

I played from probably 2008? until 2010 something like that. My only biggest achievement was 99 Woodcutting. But after that, they kept changing everything and it eventually lost its luster.

I think I called it quits around '09. I had a business set up in that game actually, and friend and I basically had people mining/cutting/fishing for us, bringing it to our people who could do stuff with it, and we'd enjoy the profits. For an 11 year old, I was pretty smart :P

Well, I used to a couple of years ago, but with all the new updates and stuff I kinda got tired of it, still think it's a shame what they did to the game.

i logged in for the first time in many years a couple days ago, and they changed everything 0_0

I played it maybe 7 years ago. I sucked at it, but it was still fun

I've never played it but I remember a friend of mine used to tell me about it in fifth grade. He said that it was fun to change the settings to different languages. Good times, I should look him up on Facebook and talk to him, he was a nice dude :)

My twin brother was pretty into it for a while. I honestly don't see what's so exciting: Clicking the same spot to chop down a tree for an hour doesn't strike me as thrilling!

yeah i play :)
i tend to focus on a target and then take a break
e.g. i got 99 prayer like a week ago so taking a little break
my breaks are long though because i have 16 months of membership so sometimes they last to up to a month
been playing since 2007 though, never completely stopped, so i always consider myself a player no matter how long the break :)

I started my account around 2005/2006 and played often but with no goals, so I was like cb 30 for a couple years. in 2008 I got into it a bit and played often and got up to about cb 70 then got bored again. From 2010-2011 I started playing a lot and got up to about 110cb, then i got bored again and now i only go on to check updates. i prefer oldschoolrs.

Max cape with 112 dungeoneering.. 493M exp.
Played since at least about 2006/2007.

I usually set a goal, go full out with it for about a day or two, get bored of it then proceed with a different skill/goal. If I set myself a short term goal I make it happen though. Got 50-99FM on a second account in a weekend, 85-99 con in a day on account pictured above, etc.

Actually found the game quite fun. There feels to be less content in it once you're maxed, you feel as if your only option is to train dungeoneering to 120 before you start worrying about grinding experience in any particular other skills. This can kind of suck when you don't find dungeoneering overly fun since EoC was released.
