sometimes I'm looking for it and can't see it though and I know that there are already four things stickied but just one more couldn't hurt

i agree with ant. its popular enough that it will stay on the front page anyways. too many stickies makes the place look clogged and then you have to scroll down to get to the new threads which is a pain.
