Hey guys!

So I was wondering if there are any homemade nail polish removers that work (or if there is such a thing) I don't really like the smell of the store bought ones, way too strong. And I've tried acetone free ones but it still smells. Thanks!

Well I'm not sure about making any at home because of the chemicals needed, but there are better-smelling options. Perfume, spray on deodorant, and hairspray are three I've heard of. It takes a little bit of scrubbing but those should work. If you have topcoat, I've found that if you apply it and then use a cotton ball or something to rub it off before it's dry, it will usually take all the color with it. Also, I use nail polish remover pads more often than out of the bottle, and those smell a lot less, plus they're usually scented - I think mine are peach, lemon, and strawberry. They came with a pack of nail polishes, but I'm sure you can get them separately.

I just did a quick Google search, a completely natural home one is vinegar and lemon in a bowl together. You could try that if you really want something natural.

Just remember to be careful with the solution Hannah posted, though - vinegar and lemon are both very strong substances and may cause harm to your skin, if you have sensitive skin, so just be warned! I think you should be fine if you just put it on your nails, however..
