What Kind of music gets you pumped for gaming, or is music that you listen to while playing video games?

For me it's Green day, I have Dookie on repeat whenever I play TF2

Pretty weak thread, I know, thought it'd be interesting though... :S

I don't know that I have any SPECIFIC music per se, but I do occasionally enjoy listening to music while gaming.

This is my power song though. If I'm trying to get through something tough, for whatever reason I sing at the top of my lungs to this.

Old game music, from Phantasy Star Online, N64 games, some GNC ones.

Also anything from Nightwish, Sonata Arctica or Stratovarius.

just anything that's on my iPod, so mostly A-music and some rock and stuff. But I put the hardcore music on when I am in an important fight lol

I don't always listen to music when I play games, but when I do, its Lord of the Rings music

I don't really have special music for playing, almost always I'd rather just leave the original game audio the only thing I'm listening.

When I do decide, there's still nothing special that I choose. Just pick my music folder and hit play or some disc. The only time something's different is when I'm menially doing some long task (2h+) in a game so I put some new discography to learn about.

(Last time I gamed w/ music was Allen-Lande's first two discs)

AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, Def Leppard, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Kiss, and Metallica are all great.

Same here for the most part, but only if the game's soundtrack is good.

Like Katamari. Holy cow.

Or most older games, the LittleBigPlanet series, etc. And as much as I like the score for Star Wars, I tend to play other music when I play Lego Star Wars if I can help it. Eeeeyuck.

You have not lived until you've liberated a base in Far Cry 3 on hard mode with a heavy machine gun and "Guerilla Radio" playing in the background.
