I just want to get high and let my worries slip away, I feel like I'm always anxious for no reason :/ I know that I shouldn't but it's so tempting

Be careful about using any substance as an emotional fix. (Assuming you're talking about marijuana) While it isn't addictive physically, it can be addictive psychologically, as in if you consistently use it to 'fix' negative emotions then you'll eventually become dependent on it.
Other than that, it is illegal in Illinois I think (actually no idea) so just be careful about that if you are going to do it and make sure you don't have a bad reaction because of negative thoughts.
I see nothing wrong, personally, with having marijuana to take the edge of stresses. You know yourself better than I do though, so if you believe that you shouldn't do it, then you probably shouldn't.

If your only "need" to get high is to get away from whatever it is that's stressing you, its only going to be a temporary fix. No matter how good the high might feel at the time - and no matter how long you forget about your worries - they will still be there when you come down from your buzz. There are other ways to get away from the stresses of life. But, IMO, I'd say face them: take care of them so that they're no longer concerns, and you will no longer feel the need to "medicate". :)

Yea, it's not legal here but even I it was, I'm underage. Kids to it all the one here though. I probably shouldn't i used to abuse prescription drugs and it was hard to get clean but I kinda miss the feeling.. I most likely won't get high, but I want to

If you have a past history with abusing prescriptions, staying away from anything that could give you that feeling is probably best.

I often want to get high...so I do...then I regret it.
I wouldn't recommend it at all, good at the time but you'll feel worse afterwards.

I can relate to this a lot. I'm an alcoholic, and I used to just get high off of whatever I could get my hands on to keep from drinking, and I just ended up using it as a stupid coping mechanism. If I didn't/couldn't get high, I'd get suicidal, even.

Against popular opinion I think regular drug use is fine, as long as you take regular tolerance breaks, don't mix drugs that contraindicate (benzos and alcohol, MDMA and SSRIs, etc) and never overdoing it.

Whats wrong ? Why do you get anxious ? I have anxioty issues and I take meds when it gets really bad , I don't get high or drink or whatever but I will try to help out as much as I can if you want it.

Marijuana use while a teenager is unwise to say the least. Although it doesn't affect adults with fully developed brains in the long term (unless we are talking about very, very heavy use), smoking weed at your age does stunt your brain growth and it's been proven that teenage smokers have lower IQs in adulthood than their non-smoking counterparts, while there is no difference in IQ in adults that started smoking as adults and adults who do not smoke.
If the threat of actually fulfilling the stereotype and killing off some of your brain cells can't deter you, then I don't know what will except your own willpower.
Good luck, lay off the various highs until you're 21. The best cure for anxiety is to do something that brings relaxation, or an outlet to channel your fears. Learn to meditate, do art (any art), pet your animal companion if you've got one, go unload at the gym or the dojo. I used to have Ativan prescribed for anxiety, but I eventually learned to channel it and I don't need it anymore.

I hope you are talking about soft drugs (i.e. weed).
If you think you can just use heroin, most prescription drugs (e.g. benzos, opiates like hydromorphone, oxymorphone, oxycodone, hydrocodone...), meth or any other drug REGULARLY and then just take a "tolerance break"... you obviously have never been addicted to them.
Using a(n addictive) drug REGULARLY means ADDICTION. TOLERANCE BREAK means QUITTING. QUITTING means WITHDRAWAL, which means SUFFERING.
Also, ADDICTION means OVERDOING, so you can't just regularly use a drug and not overdo it - usually the limit is money.
If I (still) was addicted to any opiate, benzo or other drug, I wouldn't regularly go through withdrawal just to take a tolerance break.
The term of tolerance break is only valid in the marijuana context. Maybe even nicotine, or alcohol.

Rather just keep on going and leave drugs or meds out of the picture :). I know that it is difficult but you can succeed

Doing drugs to escape your anxiety/worries may seem like it's helping in the now, but over time it will likely worsen your anxiety, and build you a dependence on drugs. As Jean Poutine said, channeling your anxiety through other relaxation methods can help tremendously. I've never been on meds for my anxiety, but various things like meditation, hiking, exercise, artistic expression, or good conversation often help my anxiety. I wrote a sticky for the anxiety section recently, I'm not sure if you're interested in reading it, and you may know some of the information in it already, but I think it's worth looking at if you haven't yet. here (click me) (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=201769) is the link.

I don't think it's a big deal to smoke every once in a while, but it can be addictive. My sister started doing it every once in a while and now does it everyday, so while it's not bad in moderation you have to be careful with it, and if you don't think you should get high, don't do it, trust yourself.

Things like Weed and Alcohol only make it worse in the long run. When I'm feeling down I always felt better doing exercise or something like that.
