iPhone 5s or Galaxy 5s

My cell phone contract ends soon so I'm going to get a new phone, I want to know if I should stick with apple or get a galaxy phone. I currently have an iPhone 4s and frankly I'm getting tired of it, do you think that the new iPhone/ios 8 is worth staying with Apple or not?

I bought the iPhone 5s when it first came out and I love it. My previous phones being the Droid Incredible 2 and a Blackberry, this is my best phone. Really have no complaints what so ever.

Personally I like my galaxy s3. Iphones have too many restrictions. I'd say get a galaxy.

I got the Galaxy 3 the first week it came out. I just swapped it out for the 5s last month and its great. Will never go back to iphone. Even got the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 tablet for my birthday it it rocks!

Go with the Galaxy 5s. Honestly, I think it's the better option.

I don't trust Samsung. I like the android market, and some features of the OS better, but honestly I prefer my iPhone. Plus, Samsung phones are freaking HUGE. No thanks, if I want something THAT big, I'll get a tablet.

It's irrelevant, because the question was 5s vs s5, not "which phone is the best of all phones".

I guess that you probably bought a lot of apps/music on iTunes and that would go to a waste if you go for android...

That, and it seems that the new Swift language will the iOS will be closer to android customization.

So unless you really want to go into the techy customizing and detailing of Android, might as well stay with the iOS.

EDIT: Seeing you already have an iPhone, I guess Android could be a cool new experience.

Samsung products are just higher quality than apple's. The S5 has better hardware than the 5s (16MP camera vs. 8MP camera), better processing power (2.5 Ghz quad-core vs. Apple A7 64-bit), a better screen resolution, and in my opinion just an overall better experience.

Not to mention the Galaxy S has always been much more durable in comparison to the iPhone. I've had a $2 silicone case on my S4 since I bought it (no screen protector) and I have yet get even a scratch on the body, let alone the screen. I drop consistently as well.

I've said this before in other threads as this discussion keeps popping up a lot; Apple products are just a status symbol. They're supposed to look overpriced and flashy because that's exactly what they are, when in reality Samsung products are always held to a higher standard.

I've been in customer service. If the customer asks you which is better, item A, or item B, you don't bring up item Q because it's better in your opinion, you give the customer the answer they want.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is the way to ago, unless you have tons of iTunes stuff on your account. If I couldn't get that, I'd get the HTC One. I wouldn't want the iPhone 5s, personally.

Personally I'd recommend the S5, I dislike the way Apple work with software, and the way they outdate you as soon as they feel like. Not when you actually become outdated.
But that's just me opinion, if you like iOS then go for the iPhone, I have had some plimited experiandpc with a friends s5, 'tis a superb phone, fantastic, but then again so is the iPhone if your OK with the way iOS works.

When it comes to the camera,picture quality,portability and a great design the iPhone 5s is definitely the way to go but when it comes to a larger and 1080 screen, great specs,great camera and cool features the Galaxy S5 wins and the Galaxy S5 is water resistant.
