Do you use your phone "naked" or do you like to have a case and screen protector, and why?

I use a case and screen protector just in case one day something happens, I kind of have a bit of hope it will have survived.

I drop it basically everyday, I've had it for 3 years now, there is a sh*t load of scratches on this screen, my horse stood on it, dropped it from a 3 floor building, dropped it in a bath tub, but it still works!
The screen hasn't even cracked yet, no idea how I do it...

sometimes I use a case, just depends where I'm going, if I'm going outdoors or hanging out with friends I put a case on just in case, but normally I don't :p

I've never really used a case for any of my phones. The only case that I have is for my current phone and it flips open on the side, but because I'm left handed it makes the keyboard very awkward to use so I just took it off.

Well I have an Android and an iPod.. I have a case for my Android but I haven't used it in a while and I should because I drop it on a basis. For my iPod I have a hard plastic case with a rubber one over it

A key wouldn't do anything to the screen anyway because the glass on the phone is harder than the metal the key is made of.

No not really because if you drop it the screen protector helps prevent it from cracking and there are still a lot of things that could scratch it like a tiny innocent grain of sand that will scratch your screen like no tomorrow.

Despite dropping it about 1.5 dozen times and cracking the screen twice, I still use my iPod touch bare.

I love the feel of my HTC One, and my last phones, too much to cover them. I use to use screen protectors but felt they diminished the sharpness of the screen and slightly hurt the look of the phone. I just keep keys and my phone in separate pockets and handle my phones with caution and they all hardly had a scratch when retired.

Why put a barrier between you and your beautiful sleek phone? (if your not naturally clumsy) It will be outdated in 2-3 years anyway and having a scratch free outdated phone, whose hardware you never got to fully appreciate, won't mean much then. But to each their own. :P

If I use a case on my phone, it won't be a bulky one. I'll either use a slim little one or no case at all. I always make sure to have a good screen protector on. I want to get a glass screen protector but I am not sure how I would like them and they can be kind of expensive depending on the brand.

I have a galaxy s4 and these things are pretty damn sturdy so I don't really need a case to protect my screen or anything.

One minor gripe I do have with the s4 however is that the front and side buttons are very easy to press accidently when the phone is in your pocket (maybe it's just because my jeans are too tight?) so I'm considering getting a case just to stop that. One time I accidentally pocket dialed 911 because of the "emergency call" button on the lock screen. That was really embarrassing.

I use to run with a screen protector sort of thing that covered the entire phone along with a carbon fiber wrap on my iPhone 4s and I would also use my Lunatik Taktik Extreme case, but I thought it was too bulky. Now I just use this $8 dollar case with no screen protectors or anything. In my opinion, iPhones are too attractive to be covered by cases.
