I don't see the correlation between those movies.
I lik alot of old movies, if they are good.
Some movies from the thrirties are pretty good, etc, it doesn't really matter to me.
From what you listed I love space oddesy though, a cubric masterpiece.

Really? that's the oldest movie you've watched?
I mean I'm not the one to judge but damn. I feel weird for all my 60's and 70's films now! I mean I basicly grew up with them.

I love Arsenic And Old Lace! I also enjoy a lot of Alfred Hitchcock films, and The Beatles' films.

Eh, I'm not much for old movies, probably because I haven't seen very many. I haven't seen very many movies at all, I'm kind of a movie noob. My family never really watched a lot of movies, old or new, so I guess I just didn't grow up with them.

Oh, but there isn't any relation :P (except maybe that I love them all ;) ) I just wanted to bring some examples! And, oh yeah, "Space Odyssey" is a real masterpiece!!

I do like old movies that are really good. One of my favorite movies is pulp fiction(it's on Netflix if you want to check it out). I'm not sure how old it is exactly or if you would consider it to be an old movie or not, but it is really good.

The movie has to be really good in order for me to watch it. I have more of a contemporary taste for cinema.

Casablanca is definitely one of the greatest. I did not like Citizen Kane, however. Out of the movies I listed before, I'd definitely recommend M and assorted Hitchcock films.

Wizard of Oz *swoons*
I taught myself how to read with that book, and it was the first film I watched.
When it started with the sepia tone I looked at my mom and asked if the TV was broken.
I still have the VHS. And a wizard of oz shrine.. I might be obsessed.

I actually appreciate lots of old films =D !
I like Kubrick, Truffaud, Tati, de Funes and Chaplin's films, and much more than these...
Oldest I own at home must be some late 20's Buster Keaton.

Ummm , I like old movies ... I watched tons of old movies , but I can remember only movies that I recently watched ... That are : " Les Diaboliques ( 1955 ) " and " The Ipcress File ( 1965 ) " ... Both are great , but I vote little bit more for " Les Diaboliques " ...
