I am gay and 14 and I want to have sex with a guy but I don't live near any boys, and I can't get that close to any boys while at school because most of them are probably straight, and/or unwilling to do it at school...

Haha I think you and I are in the same boat. Honestly, though, I would much rather wait for the right guy, y'know. In my school there is this guy who's gay and we r great friends and I got feelings for him buuuut thinking bout sex ain't one of my priorities (although I joke about that with my friends sometimes.)

Work towards it? My advice to you is wait for the right guy, not just some person that you won't talk to later and/or regret. Make friends and find out if they're willing to.

Wait for the right person, just having sex for the sake of it might impact how special later times are - at least that's what I think. I'm not sure if you're legal but be safe whatever your decision. When you find the right person make it something to remember (idk but doing it at school wouldn't be as memorable for me as spending the night with someone - call me romantic but hey)

I agree with Stripling, I would hold off on having sex with a person untill its someone you love, not when you're hormones are raging outta control. Hope this helps

I have won mate who I get along with really well and today he said his balls were itchy but I don't know how to ask him to have some fun with me

That is adorable. It would be like asking anyone, no matter what your preferences are. Do not be shy. Get to know someone that you have a crush on or think is attractive. One thing leads to another. Spend time with him and develop a relationship. Be friends at first and get him to open up. Then you can be playing video games and randomly ask him if he would like to experiment. Talk about puberty and see if he is comfortable. But respect if he rejects your advances and move on. Good luck.
