So I'm 18 now and used to Fap about 3-5 times a week. After hurting my neck really badly a few times, I decided to just stop completely. Both to save my neck and as a "self control" kind of thing.
So far I'm a 9 days without fapping which I think is a new record for me. My question is, what health impacts will this have? (positive /negative) and how long can you go without fapping? Also, what do you find suppresses your urges?
Personally I find working out does for me, which seems anti logic in some way as I always thought that working out would increase testosterone production and thus increase urges. But not for me.
Thanks

Well, there are no negative or positive side effects, however wanking is a great dress reliever, so you may feel yourself more stressed, obviously stress is bad for your health.
It also uses a LOT of energy, so you may feel a little restless at times. But working out should help use that energy.
As for suppressing it, keep yourself buisy, obviously.
I don't think you need to stop completely, just keep it relaxed and enjoy yourself, instead of doing whatever you where doing to hurt your neck. Just cut back a little if you want, but I don't think stopping is needed.
And 9 days...I give you my congratulations, I couldn't handle more than 4.

I heard that the more you masturbate/orgasm in your life the less likely you are to get prostate cancer!

I have to agree with Joe, I dont think there are any negative or positive side effects, but if you feel you need to gain more control over doing it, then by all means, do so. As far as your neck hurting, that sounds like a stress issue there, so maybe you need to slack off for awhile.

Up to you, obviously, but to me it seems you have picked a hard option when it comes to self control and ultimately one which does not serve any useful purpose.
Yes, it is good to be disciplined, for example getting up in time to do the things you need to do, arriving at things on time, doing work as soon as you are able rather than at the very last minute etc. but if these are the areas where you need control why not practice with them directly?

It seems the body has a hormonal mechanism for being able to tell good times, when it would be good to breed, from bad times, when the burden of extra offspring would be a bad thing and adjusts your horniness accordingly.
In this context good times means food is easily available and bad times means it is not so if you increase the amount of exercise you take without eating more the hormonal signal from that is that you are having to work harder for your food and therefore food must be scarce so breeding should be avoided. You would find the same effect if you went on a diet to lose weight, eating less for the same level of exercise and that is also despite another apparent contradiction because fat can store testosterone so as fat is being broken down the testosterone should be released.
Essentially anabolism increases horniness, catabolism reduces it.
I heard that the more you masturbate/orgasm in your life the less likely you are to get prostate cancer!
There was a study in Australia a while back that suported this point of view. It also found, if I remember correctly, that ejaculation frequency in the late teens and twenties showed the strongest link to rates of prostate cancer with those ejaculating less than about three times a week showing an increased risk later in life.

I would say the mind boggles but I can think of at least two ways:
1. The contortion required to shoot your load straight into your mouth or, if you are really flexible and have a long penis, to suck yourself.
2. Bending your neck to look at something, either porn or your own penis/hand.
Neither of these is necessary for masturbation. If you must watch porn the device showing the porn can be repositioned or you can reposition yourself relative to it.

Good job, It is easy if you think about important activities like read books, play sports, help your mom at home, get your mind busy.

No negative effects of not doing it. And I just try to keep busy to suppress the urges. I've gone about 3 weeks without doing it.
