how to get his number

hey guys so this isn't really my problem but i'm asking you guys for my friend ( we're trying to figure this out together). So there's this guy in one of our classes that is super chill and nice and my friends likes him. The problem is, school is over, and she wants his number so they can hang out. They have mutual friends but none those friends have his number. apparently he doesn't have a fb so they can't message each other that way. He does have an instagram so I was thinking she could comment on his next picture asking for his number. She doesn't want to do that because apparently they're not really "friends" they've just kind of talked a little and she doesn't want to seem like she likes him. What do you think she should do?


Please help me, if she doesn't get his number i'm gonna have to hear about this the whole summer.

Well asking for his number on his public instagram would definitely give the impression that she's interested. I don't know why that's a big deal (isn't that that point eventually?) But you can ask around his friends for his number. If it were me, I'd ask around some more and find someone that does have his number.

This is how you ask for a number "Hi (whatever his name is) you know this girl (whatever her name is) likes you and would like your number can i have it so i can give it to her" Then everything is over

Well, she could always comment and start up a conversation. Say something like she likes his shirt. See where it goes. However, she's really only asking for a phone number, not a hookup.

Besides, on IG, comments are public, and I don't think he'd want his number to be public. :P

Why go the extra distance to make it seem like you/she's not interested if she really is? Let it be known. The best thing to happen would be that she gets his number. The worst: he says "no". But, just be up front about it... it'll probably mean more than you think.
